Sisterhood of Stars

From the sky a star fell and

;">upon the earth lay broken
the Angels in their wisdom
gathered up all the pieces
and not a word was spoken

now what a dilemma they faced
such special power the pieces were to hold
but creator saw their plight
and of a plan they were told
Angels you must place a pieces
within the hearts of the
daughters yet to come
and great healers and seers
these woman will become

so the Angels gave each child a gift
as they had been told
more rare than diamonds and
more precious than gold

and over the years the pieces
began to gently shine
and if you place your hand on your chest
you will discover the light of a star
is in your heart and mine

so my sister take my hand
and know your journey
has just begun
for with the joining of the pieces
the star again will become one

When one woman looks into the eyes of another she will always see herself reflected. As women we have a common bond which goes beyond colour religion or sexuality.
