Instead of:
Telling me all the ways you are right and I am wrong
Tell me all the ways you love me Instead of:
Telling me all the things you hate about your life
Tell me all the things which make you happy

Instead of:
Telling me what you see as wrong in the world
Tell me about ways you think we can change it

Instead of:
Telling me one person can't make a difference
Tell me what you are doing to save the earth

Instead of:
Telling me you don't like the neighbours
Tell me what you have done to make them feel welcome

Instead of:
Telling me how many regrets you have about the past
Tell me how you are going to manifest your dreams in the present

Instead of:
Telling me it is all my fault, her fault, his fault, God's fault
Tell me who did the chosing when the decision had to be made

Instead of:
Telling me let me tell you
Life hangs from one breathe to the next
now would be a very good time to see the glass as being full
instead of half empty
now would be a very good time to look for the good in people
now would be a very good time to begin to live in the present and let go of the past
now would be a very good time to tell your partner you love them and to let go of old wounds and hurts
As Mother Teresa reminded us "we only have today let us begin"

When one woman looks into the eyes of another she will always see herself reflected. As women we have a common bond which goes beyond colour religion or sexuality.

Beautiful Robin. Mother Teresa was an extraordinary woman, so wise. Now is the time to start and if we slip up, start again the next day. Good article.

Thank you and yes she was. This article was inspired by an argument I had with my partner which made me realize if I told my partner I loved you maybe I would get more of what I wanted rather than trying to be right :o)
